The gathering is designed to have students and teachers engage you in an activity around literacy. Conferences or expressions of concerns with teachers are for another time.
Your child will share with you what we call a “link to learning,” which is a way that you can support your child’s learning while working together at home. Our focus will be on reading. Each grade level will offer its spin on this theme.
Classrooms will be open from 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM, and an ongoing scavenger hunt will also be held at that time to help you meet the Specials teachers and other staff. Pick up the scavenger hunt form in your child’s classroom.
The cafeteria will be open between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM for an ice cream treat!
